As a professional musician, George Robinson has performed in clubs, venues, theaters and recording studios from Boston to Los Angeles, and all around the greater New England region. He has played dozens of musical theater productions, numerous weddings and countless jazz and rock gigs. George has served as the drummer of the Keene Jazz Orchestra since 2009, and has also performed across New England with the Amherst Jazz Orchestra & the Compaq Big Band. Over the course of his career, George has had the pleasure of performing with world-class musicians including Greg Hopkins, Sheila Jordan, Gordon Goodwin, Chris Potter, Steve Davis, Frank Greene, Avery Sharpe & Gary Smulyan. He has also studied drums with Joe Farnsworth, Clarence Penn, Francisco Mela, Billy Drummond, Bob Gullotti, Kenny Hadley & Tom Giampietro.

George is a devoted member of the musical community in Keene, NH. He works with the Keene Middle School jazz ensemble, performs in the Lions Club musical theater productions, teaches private music lessons, and performs throughout the region. He is also on the music faculty at Keene State College and the Vermont Jazz Center. George operates a home recording studio, remotely recording drum tracks, demos & play-along tracks for educational and professional purposes.

George proudly plays Sabian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, brushes and mallets, Remo drumheads and Ludwig, Slingerland & Yamaha drums.
